No organization in the world is more mobile than the United States Navy. So, naturally we were intrigued by this scene that shows their ships behind a trio of ModSpace mobile offices.The three large buildings are the land-based field headquarters for the construction of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation’s (HART) new maintenance and storage facility in Pearl Harbor.
Building in the Hawaiian Islands is never easy. ModSpace shipped 20 modular units on a barge to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Upon arrival in Pearl Harbor, the units were connected and built out to make two eight-unit and one four-unit complexes. The three construction offices were ready in 20 days and will remain in place for the duration of the two-year infrastructure project.
For our part it’s just cool seeing these mobile offices set against a backdrop of a Navy destroyers and one huge aircraft carrier.
